The added value of EDCTP to Europe

EDCTP brings together European Union Member States plus Norway, sub-Saharan African countries, pharmaceutical companies, small and medium enterprises, product development partnerships and international foundations to advance the development of vaccines, drugs, diagnostics and other interventions targeting poverty-related infectious diseases. EDCTP is one of the EU’s flagship programmes contributing towards the European Research Area in multiple ways.
