SeroSelectTB project kick-off meeting
On 8 August 2022, the SeroSelectTB project held its local site kick-off meeting in Bahirdar, Ethiopia. The project presented an overview and implementation plan to evaluate the feasibility, accuracy and effect of a rapid point-of-care serological triage test (SeroSelectTB test) for active TB. The performance of the test in reducing the diagnostic delay and expediting treatment will also be assessed. Additionally, discussions were held to consider the best avenues for implementing the project within the local context.
