The Fourth EDCTP Forum was held from 22 to 24 October 2007 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso at the Sofitel Ouaga 2000 hotel with the theme Building Bridges for Better Health.

The 2007 forum focused on the following sub-themes:

  1. On-going clinical trials in Africa
  2. Clinical trial networks in Africa
  3. Challenges in building clinical trial capacities in Africa
    a. Regulatory and ethics environment
    b. Networks and Nodes of excellence
