Fowzia Abram

Finance Administration Intern

Fowzia Abram is currently a Finance Administration Intern. She joined the EDCTP in March 2024. She obtained her Advanced Diploma in Accountancy and Diploma in Accountancy from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPTU), South Africa. She was always interested in pursuing a career in accounting due to her love for numbers. She worked as a retention officer for the faculty of finance and taxation at CPUT. She has also worked at a Western Cape Government hospital as a supplier chain intern which in turn gave her a perspective on how accounting affects the health system in South Africa.
