SEARCH first General Assembly meeting

The SouthErn Africa Regulatory for Clinical researcH (SEARCH) held its first scientific and General Assembly meeting at OR Tambo International Airport, South Africa, on 28-29 July 2022. Participants from the partners presented the Clinical Trials National Regulatory Authority and National Ethics Committees landscape from their respective countries, namely: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho and Mozambique. The second day was dedicated to the SEARCH General Assembly meeting. The project results of the first year were discussed, as well as the critical issues for implementation. Dr Simon Zwane, Primary Secretary from the Ministry of Health Eswatini, was a special guest at the meeting.
