Côte d’Ivoire: Workshop on EDCTP grant proposal writing
EDCTP will organise a workshop on EDCTP Calls for Proposals and grant proposal writing in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from 16-18 July 2018. The workshop will be conducted in French and is aimed at French-speaking scientists from sub-Saharan Africa in early stages of their career.
The objectives of the workshop are to inform researchers about the main EDCTP funding mechanisms, its grant review process and the eligibility criteria through hands-on and practical sessions on grant proposal writing.
Participants have been selected based on a call for applications in April 2018. Participation at this workshop is independent from any EDCTP call for proposals and does not guarantee funding from EDCTP at a later stage.
The workshop will be held at the Institut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire. It is organised by EDCTP in collaboration with ISGlobal (the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, the Institut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire and the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS). EDCTP staff involved are Dr Ole Olesen (Director of International Cooperation for Europe), Jean Marie Vianney Habarugira (EDCTP Project Officer) and Ana Lúcia Weinberg (Strategic Partnerships Officer).
